The Mews House, Bloomsbury

D2 ModelThis Bloomsbury mews house needs to function as a family home and an art gallery.  The clients’ love of purity and simplicity inspired an honest, tactile and light-filled design.

The ground floor is the main reception area for clients of the gallery.  The spacious master suite takes up the back of the ground floor.

Separated by a WC and coat closet, a formal living room acts as a comfortable space for the family to relax, or a more formal extension of the gallery when needed. D2 LR SketchD2 LR

The first floor of the house is the main living space, with a large kitchen and dining area, and integrated crafts room for the creative family.  Soft materials and colours on the floors, walls and kitchen create a natural atmosphere.
